DIGITAL MEDIA
Here are some samples of the social media posts I've made over the years. I believe my progression is pretty evident in terms of the quality of photography and reporting. And I am especially proud of my Homecoming post from this year.

HOMECOMING PARADE 2021
This is a post I made after this year's Homecoming Parade. I was assigned to photograph and report on the event, which was one of my first in-person field assignments since the beginning of the pandemic. I had a lot of fun covering the event, and was pleased with the photos I was able to capture (particularly the first one).

HOMECOMING PEP RALLY 2019
This was a crazy event. As an overzealous sophomore, I decided to both chair and report on the Homecoming Pep Assembly. So, while I was running around making sure everything ran smoothly, I was simultaneously taking photos and recording videos to post on The Tower Instagram. Although I would never put myself through that kind of stress again, it was definitely exhilarating, and it was another fun event to cover.

HOMECOMING SOPHOMORE SPIRIT DAY 2019
This is a post from Sophomore Spirit Day in 2019 as the "Saddle Up Sophomores"-- my second and final spirit day before the pandemic. Homecoming is generally a high spirit event, which is why it so much fun to cover. Looking back, I think it's really cool to see just how much I've grown as a reporter in the past few years. I'm very glad I've stopped centering my text on Instagram Stories.
